Asparagus Setaceus is also known as the Common Asparagus Fern or lace fern, although it's not actually a member of the fern family. It's one of our personal favourite houseplants. Elegant and ethereal, with long wiry stems and feathery frond-like leaves.

As the plant grows, we like to cut away the longer stems and place them in a vase - they look great on their own or make a lovely ornamental addition to your cut flowers.

Although this plant looks soft and tactile it does develop small thorns along the stems so watch out for those when handling. Small green-white bell shaped flowers may appear in late summer which develop into small, purple inedible berries.

It is fast growing and easy to care for and can reach a height of 2.5m unless pruned.

It likes bright, indirect light and regular watering.

The pot size is 7cm and the height is approximately 10-15cm.
