Sedum Cauticola is also known as the Cliff Dwelling Stonecrop. It's a compact Japanese alpine species that you can expect to spread to around 30cm wide. It produces a mass of succulent blue-green foliage with a slightly variegated purple edge. In the autumn it produces attractive star shaped flowers of pinkish-purple.
Sedum Cauticola makes an excellent ground cover in any border, bed or rockery and its later flowering time adds an injection of bright contrasting colour against the typical bronzes and yellows of autumn.
This plant will be happy in freely draining soil and placed in a bright position with a little direct sunlight. Water when the soil is dry.
The current pot size is 12cm.
