Chilli 'Machu Pichu' is a warm, smokey number with a medium spicy flavour. Growing good-sized chestnut-coloured chillies.

 

Chilli 'Machu Pichu' seeds produce medium spicy, smoky chestnut-coloured chillies perfect for adding depth to dishes. Sow indoors from March to May and transplant after frost. They thrive in full sun with regular watering and can be harvested from late summer onwards.

 

How to Sow, Grow and Harvest Chilli 'Machu Pichu' Seeds

  • Sow: March–May, indoors in pots or trays
  • Germination: 7–14 days at 21–26°C
  • Grow: Full sun, well-drained soil, transplant after last frost, space 30cm apart
  • Water: Regular watering to keep soil moist but not waterlogged
  • Harvest: Fruits ready late summer to early autumn, pick when chestnut brown
  • Best for: Pots, greenhouse, sunny borders
