Recycled crushed, washed and dried whelk shells. This bag contains a finer crush of shells than our other bags, ideal for top dressing miniature plants and pots (contains approximately 1 Kg of shells).

We've taken our time to crush and riddle these shells resulting in smaller pieces which will sit more neatly and uniformly as a top dressing - great for succulents.
The artwork on the front of the bag is by watercolour artist Tanya Glama.
We asked Tanya to share a bit about herself -
"I really love travel, and in every new city I visit botanical gardens. It inspires me. On one these trips I discovered succulents. I fell so in love with succulents that I started to collect them, and then I began to paint them. The illustration on the Super Crush bag shows a succulent that I painted from my own collection."

Great looking shell cover for my succulents and hose plants too. Definitely recommend

I love these shells. I was looking at an Aroid dry soil mix but these shells do everything I want. They stop gnats and other pests laying eggs in the soil and look fantastic laying on top of the plant pot
I used this to top dress houseplants and pots in the garden. It works really well and looks great. I just wish the Super Crush came in bigger bags.
