Recycled crushed, washed and dried whelk shells from our family seafood processing business. This bag contains a finer crush of shells than our other bags, ideal for top dressing miniature plants and pots (contains approximately 1 Kg of shells).
We've taken our time to crush and riddle these shells resulting in smaller pieces which will sit more neatly and uniformly as a top dressing - great for succulents.
The artwork on the front of the bag is by watercolour artist Tanya Glama.
The Super Crush bag has the same dimensions as our Mini bag.

My succulents all needed reporting before the Autumn. I usually top with gravel but saw this product and decided to give it a try. I love that its kinder to the environment. I always buy new succulents when I'm on holiday in Cornwall so I loved too that this would bring a little bit of the ocean to my collection. Very well packaged, quick delivery. Ideal for mixing with compost for newly rooted aeoniums, they look very content and the shell looks really smart used as top dressing. Will definitely buy again, like the ethics of this family business thank you
Bought these after seeing an advert. I was very impressed with the packaging and the product looks fantastic on all of our indoor plants, ranging from Cactus, money trees and a very large bird of paradise. So much nicer to see than the growing media.
