    Gaura lindheimeri, also known as Lindheimer's beeblossom, Lindheimer's clockweed, Wand Flower, and Indian feather, is a species native to Texas and Louisiana in the USA. It is synonymous with Oenothera lindheimeri. The name "Gaura" comes from the Greek word "gauros," which means "superb," while "lindheimeri" is named after Texas plant collector Ferdinand Jacob Lindheimer.
