Golden Berry, also known as Cape Gooseberry, produces masses of sweet, golden-orange fruits wrapped in delicate papery lanterns. The berries have a unique tropical flavour, often described as a delicious blend of pineapple, mango and citrus.

Easy to grow and highly productive, Golden Berry plants produce dozens of fruits throughout late summer and autumn. The attractive lantern-like husks add ornamental interest to the garden before revealing the ripe berries inside.

Perfect for eating fresh, adding to fruit salads, desserts, jams and preserves, Golden Berry is a rewarding and unusual crop for kitchen gardens, greenhouses and sunny patios.
