'Not Quite Perfect', these shells are a larger grade than our regular crush. Please note that the image of our large bag is for illustration purposes only and does not contain this particular size grade. The shells are around 20-30% larger than our regular crush.

We regularly need to change the blades on our crusher, and towards the end of their lifespan, we sometimes end up with a batch of larger grade crushed shells.

These shells are a slightly larger grade than our Regular Crush, making them better suited for ground cover and larger outdoor pots, rather than indoor plants and smaller pots.

Recycled crushed, washed and dried whelk shells. The large 12 litre bag contains approximately 11kg of shells, and is ideal for garden borders, beds, rockeries or as an outdoor plant pot topper.

The crushed shells can also be used for drainage or added to soil for aeration.
