    Spacing:
Thin or plant out to around 20–25cm apart.

    Position:
Prefers a sunny or partially shaded position.

    Soil:
Grow in moist, fertile, well-drained soil.

    Care:
Water regularly and harvest frequently to encourage fresh growth.

    Harvesting

Harvest from late spring onwards, picking outer leaves first. Regular harvesting will promote continuous production.

    Top tip

Soaking seeds in warm water for a few hours before sowing can help improve germination.
