Originating from the Rennes region of Brittany, this gourmet variety is renowned for its rich flavour, juicy texture and reliable performance, even in cooler climates.
 
The fruits typically weigh around 500-800g, making them the perfect size for enjoying fresh. Their sweet, aromatic flesh is delicious eaten straight from the garden and makes a wonderful addition to fruit salads and summer desserts.

Start seeds indoors in warmth and plant out once all risk of frost has passed. For the sweetest fruits, grow in a greenhouse or the warmest, most sheltered part of the garden and allow fruits to ripen fully on the vine.
