Also known as Queen Anne’s Lace or Bird’s Nest, Wild Carrot is a graceful native wildflower loved for its airy white flower heads and delicate, naturalistic appearance.
Flowering from midsummer into autumn, its large lace-like umbels often feature a distinctive dark central floret, creating a beautiful contrast against the surrounding sea of white blooms. Wild Carrot adds softness, movement and height to borders, meadows and wildlife gardens, whilst attracting a wide variety of pollinators and beneficial insects.
Despite its delicate appearance, this is a wonderfully resilient and low-maintenance flower that thrives in poor soils and requires very little intervention once established. Perfect for creating a relaxed cottage garden or wildflower aesthetic.
